Green Goblin Vs. The Creeper

This is a match up that would be very cool to see.  They are each Ditko-designed characters known for their maniacal laughter and outlandish garb in their costumed identities while holding down public positions of responsibility as civilians. There are a lots of similarities and contrasts that a writer could play off of.

Ross, that combination is so natural that I could imagine the book actually being released. Maybe guest starring the Blue Beetle.

Actually, Creeper, it was Kent Allard who invented it.

"The Shadow knows. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!"

Anon above, there are earlier maniacal laughers than the Shadow. Listen to the Mikado of Japan's opening song in Gilbert and Sullivan's the Mikado. It'll make you laugh too.

Nice cover! We still need a CREEPER and PROWLER team-up.

I wonder if the powers that be at Marvel and DC look at your covers. They really should consider writing this. I would be so ready to read this story.

I do think that this would be cool. Were I writing it, I'd have them fight in costume at least twice before Jack Ryder discovers the secret of Norman Osborne, and brings him down in their civilian identities!

Very clever!

@ Anonymous #2: Can't do it. It would remind me too much of that insipid ax murderer story from THE QUESTION.

I agree with Anon Numero Uno. The Shadow might not have been the first maniacally laughing anti-hero. But, he was definitely and indisputably the best!

Love it. A big Creeper fan, am I. Would love to see him with Captain America. Not a natural pairing, I know, but given that they both got their abilities from secret formulas that might be the bridge connecting them.
